COMMUNICATIONS CHALLENGE FACED A mobile trailer on wheels (a space station replica) was built to travel to and from schools in Montreal. Complete communications equipment was required on the vehicle to simulate the equipment on board the International Space Station. INFOSAT'S SOLUTION Implementing Infosat's Connect solution, an auto-deploy unit was installed on the trailer to allow for satellite communications to emulate real life space station functionality, including data transfer and other research activities engaged onboard.
