Data applications are also supported through an RS-232 serial interface. The 9522A uses the DPL bus for digital voice communications.
Iridium 9601 Data Transceiver 9601 SBD Modem 
The 9601 Data Transceiver combines the global coverage of the Iridium satellite constellation with the low latency of the Iridium Short Burst Data Service (SBD) in a small, low-cost transceiver design. Short Burst Data applications are supported through an RS232 interface.
Infosat Skynode tracker (Aeronautical / Flight Following) 
The SkyNode Tracker (LMC) can be used in both data and phone based modes, allowing you to send reports as well as make voice calls. Using our own web-based mapping service, we can bring flight-following tracking to the desktops of any company. As an intelligent TCP/IP terminal, the SkyNode Tracker provides truly global mobile tracking and messaging services. The SkyNode Tracker supports SBT and direct internet data sessions. It comes complete with a serial port and input/output ports for custom event triggers and indicators.
Iridium Fax Adapter FX2600 
The fax adapter can be used with a standard Group 3 fax machine and connects to it through an RJ-11 phone cord and, in turn, connects to the Iridium phone through a standard serial port. During transmission the fax machine sends the fax to the adapter which buffers it before sending it over the Iridium network. From there the fax is sent to the recipient. For mobile-terminating faxes the call flow is reversed, with the server buffering the fax before it is sent over the Iridium network to the fax adapter.
Iridium Data Kit ADKT0602 
Send or receive email virtually anywhere in the world. The Data Kit contains the hardware and software required to establish an Iridium data call with the Iridium 9505A Portable Phone. The data adapter attaches to the Iridium 9505A Phone and provides a connection for a serial cable. The stand supports the 9505A Phone and allows the antenna to be oriented in a vertical position. The serial cable connects the data adapter to a computer serial port.
