The Iridium EuroCom Fixed Satellite Phone is a single-channel product for use onboard a ship or fixed application where the Iridium antenna and electronics have to be mounted at a considerable distance from the handset. Consisting of an antenna, transceiver and handset, the unit provides flexibility in installation, ease of use, and is designed to withstand the harshest conditions.

Installation Features

• Small antenna with no moving elements housed in dirt-resistant conical radome of glass fibre re-enforced epoxy

• Transceiver – the unit’s brain – contains the basic L-band transceiver, AC/DC power supply and interface application module
