• What information will the NOC be asking for?
• The four-digit CPA number: this is located on a sticker on the modem.

• What do the lights on the front of the modem mean?
• There are six lights on the front of the modem. They are:
• Power (PWR): AC power is reaching the modem.
• Receive (Rx): is on when modem acknowledges the satellite signal.
• Synchronization (SYN): is in sync with the flow of data carried by the signal and you will not have Internet access if the SYN light is not lit.
• Connection (CON): is lit when the modem has successfully established a connection with the HSi hub.
• Transmit (TX): is on when the modem is transmitting
• PC (PC): is on when there is a computer or other network device connected to the modem.
