Coverage on the Iridium Network:

The Iridium Network offers truly global coverage, however for
optimum results it is recommended that users:

  • Check your Line-of-Sight, that means no object, building or
    natural feature should come between the antenna and
    satellite;
  • Call from an Open Horizon as buildings, trees, mountains, and
    other structures may impact strength of the signal available to you;
  • Iridium handsets are not intended for indoor use;
  • As the position of Iridium satellites change, continue monitor the signal strength throughout your call.
